Happy 1 and a halfth birthday almost, blog!
This blog turns 1 and a half in a week!
I’ve gone through a lot of changes on Tumblr. I’ve met a few people, started blogs, changed looks, gone through awful phases (we shall not talk about my Justin Bieber phase… ever again) and had a few good moments. And I plan to keep doing that, as well as run my longer and more philosophical blog (called Socrates’ Closet, you can check it out here.)
I know that I’ve been thinking of quitting Tumblr, but I realized that it’s dumb to leave something that’s worked for so long. Tumblr is really one of the greatest blogging platforms out there if you know how to make it work for you. And best of all: It’s free. This is a good thing for college students with very little income and/or/andor hipsters. Youuu silly hipsters.
In shorth, thanks for everything, Tumblr. You’ve been wonderful.

Tonight was a night of victory for the Jewish people. (And the wizards.)
To clear up the wizard thing… National Voldemort Day? Hello?
So, tonight. First off, I was on a boat. That’s right, a boat. A mother-******* boat, as in the words of Andy Samberg. With about 25 other of my Jewish friends, we circled the big lake in the middle of Ithaca on a nice-sized boat, eating snacks and just generally feeling awesome. If you’d like an example, see below.
After this, we went to Katie and Brian’s house (two friends who are roommates) for a party called “Anything But Clothing”. The point is simple: You can wear your undies, but something else has to cover it. For example, a toga. Or a skirt made of playing cards. Or a dress made of duct tape. Anything.
Might I gloat: I was the DJ. I was the Lord of The Dance. I controlled the music, got the crowd moving, met a lot of nice (albeit drunk) people, and actually had the most fun at a party of all time. Of all time. We didn’t get out of there until 2:30 in the morning.
All in all, it was a very good night. We laughed, we danced, and some of us even had our first kiss (or third, or seventeenth, or just one that was very special.) To anyone reading this blog post who was there, thank you all for a wonderful evening. And to anyone not there, I hope you have a night just as special very soon.
Love,
WillPS: If you’re an aspiring party DJ, I’d recommend the program VirtualDJ. It’s not expensive, and you can do lots with it if you know what you’re doing.
