Hi there.

My name is William Sisskind, and I am a poor college student.

This is a catch-all of the random thinkings and ponderments that I have over the course of the day. There are many. A hojillion, if you will.

I am an expert at many types of cheeses, I remodel old computers to make humans their dirty slaves, and I enjoy sipping monkey picked tea whilst watching the execution of wanted criminals.

    About South Park, stem cell research, and every mainstream or Disney Channel mega super star being forced into coitus with each other by a machine. Oh, and Miley Cyrus wouldn’t stop clinging on me.

    I need to write. I have ideas buzzing in my skull (the Atticus Finch of applied robotics— specifically, the subject of obedience and the citizenry of robots; the legend of the razgriz meets vampire lore; an article on majoring vs. practicing in your subject; and a bunch of other things that are buzzing around in my skull and leaking out faster than I can recall them, hence my making of this list) and the desire to implement them, the desire to use them…

    But I can’t. First of all, I’m out of practice. I haven’t written recreationally in too long- that pen that used to be comfortable is now awkward in my hand. And it will take time to get that back. Which brings me to my second point: I don’t have the time to. With all the work I should be doing, squeezing in writing for fun is ludicrous to imagine. I have a feeling I might anyways. I might start, and abandon, which is worse than not starting.

    That’s kind of annoying. I’m majoring in English. Writing is what I should be doing. Honing my craft, honing my skill, that is the point of college. Instead I am caught up in the work of my major, instead of spending time in the practice of my major.

    And that just pisses me off.

    I agree with this so much, Paddy. I’m busy working my arse off trying to learn all of the things that make a TV show, and yet I haven’t had time during school to actually make a TV show. It’s just been over break that I’ve started writing a script.

    Well, at least I don’t have to take a math class.
